I cannot recommend Rocky Mountain Periodontal Specialists (RMPS) enough. 11/10 experience! I learned that I needed Gum Grafting surgery, which caused me significant anxiety due to medical phobias and having several chronic illnesses, allergies, and an overall complex medical chart. I went to Rocky Mountain Periodontal Specialists for a second opinion. Right from the start, the staff, hygienists, and periodontist made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision and the entire process. I was incredibly impressed by Dr. Lackler, after finding out he had experience performing the Gum Grafting surgery on a couple other mast cell disease/EDS type patients like me. That reassurance alone was what encouraged me to choose Dr. Lackler and his team to perform the surgery. But that's not all. Dr. Lackler patiently sat with me at my pre-op and went extensively through my entire medical history, medication list, conditions/illnesses, and gathered information on all my specialists. Dr. Lackler/Eve/Julie/Laura went above and beyond in many ways -- contacting all my doctors to ensure it was safe for me to have this surgery and to check for medication and supplement contraindications; working tirelessly and patiently with insurance to submit a claim for reimbursement (RMPS is out of network, FYI, but completely worth it); and checking in with me the weeks leading up to surgery, and then also the evening after my surgery to ease my nerves, address my questions/concerns, and make sure I was recovering well in those initial days post-op. I just had my final post-op appt today, and I am so grateful I found Rocky Mountain Periodontal Specialists and truly appreciate their dedication to my safety and comfort. If I need periodontal work done in the future, I would absolutely go back and see Dr. Lackler and his team again. Oh, and my surgery went well, and my gums look amazing!
