Dr. Lackler’s older brother was the first member of his immediate family to attend university, and seeing that compelled him to go as well. However, he had no idea what direction to pursue for his education. He knew that he enjoyed being helpful to people in general and also felt comfortable working directly in his hands. After spending some time at the local WMCA teaching swimming and lifeguarding, he observed his family dentist – and right away, it became clear that oral healthcare was the best path. All these years later, he can’t imagine doing anything else!
